ABOUT THE PAINTING
"Ver y Contar (Seeing and Telling)" consists of two small pieces I created primarily to test out some new professional-grade watercolors I recently purchased. They explore a recurring element in my work: petals appearing almost anywhere—but especially when they are part of the body or emerge from it.
ART SUPPLIES USED
I painted this piece with the lightfast premium watercolors Winsor & Newton Professional on acid free, 100% cotton, cold-press 300gr watercolor paper by the brand Arches. And, at the end, I sprayed this painting with a few layers of Krylon UV resistant coating for its optimal preservation.
